Parts Department - Frequently Asked Questions

Do you stock Ford parts?  What is the availability?

     Yes!  We stock maintenance and the most common, or what we call "fast moving," parts.  If we do not have the part you need, it can almost always be gotten by the next business day.  In the event that Ford cannot supply the part by the next day, it can be shipped overnight for a small additional fee.

Do you do body work?

     Yes, we do!  We have a number of shops that work directly for us.  We use factory parts and handle all of your needs start to finish - working with the claims adjuster and the repair shop, arranging for your alternate transportation, and collecting the insurance payment.  By having more than one shop, we can choose the one that best fits your needs rather than you having only one option for repair.  We also offer free loaner cars for repairs over $1000.

What do you charge for body repair estimates?

     Nothing!  Body estimates are free unless the vehicle needs to be taken apart for further inspection.

Can you order Mazda parts or other parts for companies owned by Ford?

     Yes!  We have access to parts from all Ford subsidiaries, although they will typically take an extra day to receive.

How can I order parts?

     Parts can be ordered by phone at (860) 928-0010 or by emailing us at putnam.ford.parts@snet.net -we will need a credit card number to reserve your part.

Is there a guarantee on Ford parts?

     Yes!  Ford parts are guaranteed for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

What are your hours of operation?

      We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and on Saturday from 7:00am until 12:00pm.
